Nurse Team Lead

About the role

This is a leading specialist healthcare provider dedicated to helping families grow. With a history of supporting people across Aotearoa New Zealand on their fertility journey, they offer the latest treatment options, combining innovation with exceptional patient care.

They are looking for a Nurse Team Lead, to share their values of care, responsiveness, and excellence to oversee the team and guide patients through all stages of fertility care.

This is a permanent full-time position (40 hours per week), with participation in a shared weekend and public holiday roster.

What you have to do

• Lead and support a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality fertility nursing care
• Manage rosters, staffing, and daily operations
• Foster a positive, high-performing team culture where care and excellence thrive
• Act as a key liaison for patients, ensuring their journey is well-supported and informed
• Collaborate across departments to streamline processes and improve service delivery
• Support continuous quality improvement and professional development initiatives

Skills and Experience

• NZ Nursing Council registration and a current APC
• Minimum 2+ years of leadership experience
• Previous experience in an acute or hospital setting in New Zealand
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• A collaborative approach and strong organisational skills
• A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and an inclusive workplace
• Fertility experience is an advantage but not essential
