We're seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Team Leader to join a small but dedicated team of Radiology nurses who combine clinical expertise with compassionate care to prepare, monitor and comfort patients undergoing interventional treatments.

Based in Central Auckland, with multiple sites across the City, the clinic offers a full range of services from general x-ray to the latest in molecular imaging and theranostics.

Reporting to the Clinical Operations Manager, you'll bring people leadership and a clinical skill-set to manage and support a dedicated team to do their best work while maintaining the environment of calm clinical excellence.

With most patient interactions occurring with the nursing team, this role is central to shaping the patient experience. You'll act as a patient advocate, ensuring compassionate, high-quality care. Alongside your leadership responsibilities, you'll model exceptional patient care, guiding patients through their journey and responding to their needs, questions and concerns with empathy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead, mentor, and support a small team of Radiology Nurses
• Guide and support a talented team of nurses, healthcare assistants and administrators to deliver exceptional, patient-centred care every day.
• Foster collaboration across departments, lead new initiatives with positivity, and help shape a culture where care, excellence, and teamwork thrive.
• Coordinate and oversee daily clinical operations in interventional imaging
• Oversee daily operations, manage rosters and staffing, and ensure your team is well-trained, confident, and performing at their best
• Ensure high standards of patient care, safety, and clinical compliance

Skills and Experience :

• Registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and current APC
• Minimum 3 years in a senior nursing or team leadership role
• Team leadership, performance management and mentoring experience
• Significant experience in Radiology nursing with a firm understanding of radiology clinical protocols and healthcare regulations
• Strong administrative, communication, and organisational skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
