The Department of Physics invites applications for a Teaching Fellow to provide 100-level laboratory support. This is a full-time, fixed-term position based in Ōtepoti Dunedin available January to July 2026.

The role / Te mahi

As a Teaching Fellow within our Department, your focus will be to provide 100-level laboratory support. Key tasks of the role will include :

• Demonstrating 100-level labs and providing exam support.
• Coordinating assessment marking and ensuring the provision of constructive and timely feedback to students.
• Supporting other undergraduate teaching in physics as required.

This is a full-time (1 FTE), fixed-term position for six months (January to July 2026), located in Ōtepoti, Dunedin.

The successful candidate will be appointed to an appropriate step on the Teaching and Professional Practice Fellow salary scale ($75,727 to $87,849), based on skills, qualifications and experience.
