HSE Adviser – Hamilton, NZ

At Visy, we love solving problems. And that’s something we do better working together. We’re looking for a safety-focused and proactive HSE Adviser to join our Visy Board team in Hamilton, driving best practice and supporting our operations to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of our people.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Fibre division’s HSE performance. From facilitating safety meetings and training, to developing SOPs and risk assessments, you’ll help deliver initiatives that make our workplace safer and more sustainable.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide HSE support to the Operations Manager and Fibre HSE team.
• Facilitate safety meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and follow up actions.
• Develop SOPs, risk assessments, JSEAs, and maintain safety documentation.
• Coordinate HSE reporting, including safety plans, monthly reports, and injury analysis.
• Organise and deliver HSE training and toolbox talks.
• Conduct incident investigations and assurance audits.
• Maintain hazardous substances compliance and HSE training calendars.
• Support and implement HSE initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
