Senior Hse Specialist

Graymont, a global leader in lime and limestone solutions, is seeking a passionate and driven Lead HSE Specialist based in Otorohanga and other New Zealand sites.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a site-based HSE leader to drive improved performance, implement Graymont's health, safety, and environmental requirements, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.Key Focus Areas The Role Will Include : Lead and implement HSE initiatives for continuous improvementEmpower teams through training, auditing, and risk managementServe as the site HSE expert for systems and process improvementsManage incident reporting (ICAM) and corrective actionsSupport injury management and return-to-work programsLiaise with regulatory and community stakeholdersAbility to work autonomously and influence others to achieve positive HSE outcomes.Ideally, the successful candidate will have the following attributes and qualifications : National WHS and / or Environmental qualificationsComprehensive knowledge of regulations and safe practices5+ years' proven experience in heavy industry, mining, or quarriesProficiency in ICAM-led investigations; auditing and training qualifications / experienceStrong analytical, planning, and decision-making abilities; and excellent communication and influencing skills.About GraymontGraymont is a global leader in lime and limestone solutions.
