Partnering with our LPG business, you'll provide specialist advice, develop and deliver strategic initiatives, and empower our people to achieve great outcomes for both themselves and the company.In this role you will;Lead safety and wellness practices that support Genesis' aspiration of zero harm.Coach, collaborate with, and influence leaders, managers and safety representatives to embed strong safety and wellbeing outcomes.Develop and continuously improve the Safety and Wellness Management Framework to meet legal, accreditation and business requirements.Drive wellness initiatives that improve physical and mental wellbeing, with a focus on effectiveness and measurable outcomes.Oversee injury prevention and management processes, ensuring consistent compliance and effective rehabilitation support.Please note this will be an 18-month fixed term position.What You'll BringYou'll bring strong relationship building skills, a proactive approach, strong technical knowledge, and a passion for enhancing both safety and wellbeing outcomes for people.You will also bring;Formal safety and wellness qualifications (tertiary or equivalent) and incident management experience.Proven experience in safety and wellness within a high-risk operational environment.Strong understanding of New Zealand's health, safety and wellness regulations.Experience driving change and continuous improvement, with a track record of achieving results.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.Experience with ergonomic safety would be highly advantageous.How We'll Help You ThriveAt Genesis, we know that every moment matters - it's not just about the mahi today, it's also all the other benefits that set you up for a thriving future.We're proud of our strong culture, which makes Genesis a great place to work.
