Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Chef De Partie located in Palmerston North.
The Chef De Partie will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes following the restaurant's standards.
Daily tasks will include overseeing section operations, managing junior kitchen staff, maintaining food hygiene, and ensuring that dishes are served on time.
The role involves collaborating with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff to innovate and improve menu offerings.
Qualifications
Strong culinary skills and experience in cooking and food preparation
Experience in managing a kitchen section and supervising junior staff
Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
Ability to work under pressure and maintain high quality standards
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications (e.g., a diploma in Culinary Arts)
Passion for culinary arts and commitment to continuous improvement
