About the role

Our dedicated Kitchen team are looking for an experienced and passionate Chef to join them at our Whangarei Park Village located in Whangarei.

You will be responsible for whipping up delicious quality home cooking for our residents in a restaurant environment.

Alongside our Kitchen Manager you will help lead our team ensuring the coordination of the kitchen is effortless.

On offer is a 40-hour a week permanent role from Wednesday to Sunday from 7.30 am to 4 pm.

Candidates will need to be available on both days of the weekend (weekend allowance applies)

Whipping up delicious offerings in a restaurant environmentCoordinating the kitchen to ensure it operates effortlesslyMaintaining a high standard of food with consistent portion sizes and outstanding presentationUsing your leadership skills to help lead our kitchen team alongside our kitchen manager

About you

Proven experience in a similar roleCommercial kitchen and or café experience is preferredFood industry qualification preferredExcellent food hygiene practices and personal presentation
