Farm at a glance : 360 crossbred / Friesian cows, preferred planned start of calving 15 July (or close to) 148 effective hectares (100 ha flat, 48 ha easy rolling), with 85 ha effluent area 36-aside herringbone shed Feed pad, and two wintering pads, as well as ample implement shedding Cropping consists of 15 ha of maize grown on platform, plus homegrown baleage and bulk silage harvest PKE / DDG / Soy meal are imported to assist with hitting production targets.
