Au Mahi | What You Will Do
You are a supportive and approachable role model who is passionate about the success and wellbeing of ākonga Māori. With strong communication skills and the ability to build genuine relationships, you create safe and welcoming spaces where students feel heard, valued, and empowered. You are confident engaging in peer-to-peer support, encouraging simple wellbeing practices, and connecting students with the right services at the right time. Your lived experience and understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by ākonga Māori enable you to provide meaningful insight and advocate for positive change. If you care deeply about helping others thrive at UC, this role offers the chance to make a lasting difference in the lives of students.

To succeed in this role you will have NCEA 3 / National Certificate (NZQA Level 3) or equivalent, as well as :
