- Administration Support Officer to join our team and support our Custodial Systems Manager (CSM) at Rimutaka Men's Prison in Upper Hutt.Our CSM holds a busy and fast-paced role, and they need an Administrator to support them within their day-to-day tasks.
A CSM's day can range from a variety of tasks, including, but not limited to, monitoring effectiveness of operations and processes onsite, managing risks associated with prisoners, identifying & contributing to addressing operational shortfalls; recommending solutions and enhancements around site.Our CSM's contribute to site compliance around policy, procedures & legislative requirements.
Working with internal & external stakeholders on a daily basis.The preferred candidate will be able to demonstrate :
Privacy and OIA request processing, and document redactionData entry across various Corrections programmes and site databasesInbox organising; monitoring, logging, forwarding, and processing requests.Printing and scanningData entry, sorting, monitoring, and updating spreadsheets.Minute taking at CSM meetings.Other Administrative duties as required.This position at Rimutaka Prison is 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.Please note :the attached job description (JD) for this position has the general working title 'Administration Support Officer'.This JD covers a variety of administrative positions across Corrections, and you may be required to undertake some or all of the duties noted according to operational requirements.
This can be varied within the overall Administration Support structure.
