About Opteon :
Opteon is reimagining the future of property solutions. As the leading valuation insights firm across New Zealand, Australia, and the US, we deliver trusted insights by combining human expertise with industry-leading tech.
But we’re more than that. At Opteon, value means investing in our people, too. We do this through flexible work, mentoring, and leadership pathways, all backed by a safety-first culture and meaningful benefits.
Now in a new chapter of growth, we’re expanding globally, diversifying our offering, and staying grounded in what matters most : delivering value that makes a difference.
Your new opportunity :
A rare and exciting opportunity has opened for motivated individuals with a Degree in Business, Valuation, or Property who are eager to launch their careers in the property valuation industry. Based in either of our Hamilton or Tauranga offices (the choice is yours!), you’ll join a collaborative Government & Advisory team servicing Councils throughout the central North Island. You’ll support qualified Valuers with in-field inspections, review rating valuations following building consent work and subdivisions, and respond to customer service requests.
A career in Rating Valuation provides experience and exposure across ALL property types, and the opportunity to specialise in your desired field. Your role as a Valuer is vital to ensuring property data is accurate and up to date, enabling councils to fairly assess rates and fund essential services. We’re looking for a team player who’s ready to grow in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment, and who we can support on the pathway to becoming a Registered Valuer.
