Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Qualified Builder located in Rotorua.

The Qualified Builder will be responsible for carrying out construction tasks, including building and renovating structures, working with various building materials, and following project plans and blueprints.

Day-to-day tasks include measuring, cutting, and shaping materials, installing structures and fixtures, and ensuring compliance with safety and building codes.

The role may also involve project estimation, coordination with other trades, and maintaining tools and equipment.

Qualifications

Experience in building and construction, including renovations and new builds

Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and tools

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Understanding of safety protocols and building regulations

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Relevant trade certifications and licenses

Physical stamina and strength for handling manual labor

A valid driver's license
