Capability Coach

What You'll Be Doing | Mo te Turanga

As a Capability Coach, you'll play a key role in designing, delivering, and overseeing training programs that build the skills and confidence of our AA Centre staff. Reporting to the Capability Manager, you'll work closely with Area Managers and Centre Managers to ensure training outcomes are achieved and staff are supported in their professional development.Operating within a complex business environment, you'll navigate competing stakeholder needs while ensuring our teams are equipped to meet sales, service, and compliance goals.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and oversee induction coaching to ensure new staff reach full competency within three months of starting

Monitor and coach staff performance to build individual and team capability

Maintain expert knowledge of AA products, systems, and processes—both financial and non-financial

Partner with Area Managers to identify development opportunities and support Centre Managers in creating effective action plans

Contribute to the design, review, and delivery of Channel-specific learning resources

Use data and feedback to identify capability gaps and implement targeted learning solutions

About You | Mou

To thrive as a Capability Coach, you'll bring a strong blend of coaching expertise, business insight, and a genuine passion for learning and development. You're someone who motivates others, drives performance, and adapts confidently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in coaching or leadership within insurance or financial services is preferred.

Proven experience in designing and delivering impactful training solutions

Confident presentation skills across various settings
