Aspart of this change, we are looking for a Local Service Lead for our Lower Hutt(Hutt South) home base.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in achanging environment, believes in integrated care, local community developmentand can demonstrate experience in working closely with tangata whaiora andwhanau to deliver person-directed specialised mental health and addictionservices.

Supporting staff and working closely withinternal and external stakeholders will be a key part of your work, alongsidethe day to day running of your home base service and functions while managingany issues and risks that may arise.
Youwill be supported by a dedicated project team and will be working with like-mindedpeople who are passionate about the change.About theTeam / Service LocationThe Local Adult Specialist MentalHealth and Addiction Service is implementing a vision, principles and futuremodel of care that is integrated,culturally responsive,equitableacross the district and aligned with national and local directions.
The Local Specialist AdultMental Health and Addiction Services are delivered from three identifiedlocalities (Wellington City, Kapiti-Porirua, Hutt Valley-Wairarapa), to providethe specialist mental health and addiction treatment for tangata whaiora wholive in each locality.The three core - streams - within which the local adult specialistmental health and addiction functions (community) are : PrimaryCare and Community Transitions -FirstResponse (encompassing the functions of intake, assessment, and a rapidresponse to crisis); andLocalSpecialist Mental Health and Addiction (incorporating the FACT model andadvanced therapies).
Each locality will consist of clinicians and support staff whocontribute to the functions that align with their capabilities, training, and expertise.
Based in Central Lower Hutt, the Local ServiceLead will work in partnership with the principal clinician, lived experiencelead and local service coordinator to ensure that the needs of the localcommunity.The Local Service Lead is responsiblefor managing the day-to-day delivery of the home base within the locality.Ensuring the home base meets the needs of tangata whaiora and whanau,supporting staff, and maintaining the smooth running of the functions withinthe locality - s home base are key components of this role.
