Senior Risk Reporting Analyst

Overview

As we grow our non-retail lending portfolio, this role plays a key part in shaping its credit profile and ensuring we have the insights to manage risk with confidence. You’ll work closely with the GM in a hands-on capacity to build and maintain modern credit risk reporting. More than just executing tasks, you’ll help define what good looks like. Your work will support Kiwibank’s long-term sustainability and customer trust, ensuring we operate within our risk appetite and regulatory expectations as we grow responsibly and stay true to our purpose of making Kiwi better off.

We’ll help you build on your strengths and develop new skills, but in the meantime, we’d love to hear from you if you bring most of the following :

• Proven experience in credit or market risk, ideally within banking or financial services (3+ years)
• Strong working knowledge of lending products, financial markets, and risk concepts
• Proficient in Excel and confident working with data from SQL, SAP
• Experience building reports and visual analytics using Power BI
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or Statistics
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate
• Curious, flexible, and proactive; you ask questions, solve problems, and take initiative
