Senior GIS Analyst (contract)

About The Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Data & Business Intelligence Analyst to play a critical role in developing high-quality data and visual analytics solutions. You will be the essential link between business users and technical teams, driving insight and efficiency across the product suite.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with business end users and developers to deliver high‑quality data and visual analytics / reporting solutions.
• Act as the translator between business users and technical personnel.
• Lead discussions with business users to gather, interpret and document use cases, requirements and acceptance criteria using iterative / agile practices.
• Work with Data Architects, Information Architects and Principal Advisors to ensure solutions fit into the wider data landscape.
• Consider the existing product landscape to ensure ongoing consolidation and a fit‑for‑purpose, maintainable product suite.
• Ensure alignment with data governance and data management principles across all analysis.
• Manage / coordinate user acceptance testing and support release of information products.
• Support testing as part of development activities, in conjunction with testing and business resources, as required.
