About the RoleWe have a full-time permanent opportunity available as anExecutive Assistantto provide support to the Director, National Clinical Networks within the Office of the Chief Clinical Officer.The primary purpose of the Executive Assistant role is to provide high quality, timely support and be trusted to deal with matters of a highly confidential and sensitive nature.
In this role you will provide support to the Director, National Clinical Networks and contribute to the improvement and development of business administrative processes, procedures and systems across Health New Zealand.
About the Team / Service / LocationThis role reports directly to the Director, National Clinical Networks and sits within the Office of the Chief Clinical Officer.The Director reports to the Chief Clinical Officer and holds a Tier 3 leadership role within Te Whatu Ora.
About youAs an experienced Executive Assistant, you will enjoy solving complex problems, are motivated by top-notch performance, and are someone that excels in a behind-the-scenes supporting role.To be successful you must be able to work at a fast-pace, juggle changing priorities and be someone that naturally enjoys an environment and role that is constantly changing.
Significant previous experience in an Executive Assistant role providing support to a senior executive and their teamAn understanding of Maori tikanga and kawa and Te Tiriti o Waitangi in actionExperience in being able to identify what is important versus what is urgent and as a result gain the confidence as a trusted part of the teamPrevious experience in applying critical thinking and using sound judgement to develop options and provide adviceDemonstrated experience in a medium to large complex organisation or other government agencyAdvanced skills in the MS Office Suite with special emphasis on Outlook, SharePoint & Microsoft TeamsWorking for Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.We embrace a workforce that is diverse and inclusive so that we are better positioned to understand and service our community
