Based in Wellington CBD, National Office Competitive starting salary $70,000 - $79,000 Mo te tunga | About the role As our Payroll Advisor, you'll play a key part in the day-to-day administration and processing of payroll across the IHC Group.
From preparing fortnightly payrolls to maintaining employee records and assisting with final payments, you'll help ensure smooth and compliant payroll operations.
In this role, you will : Carry out routine payroll administration and processing Assist with preparing and processing fortnightly payrolls Input, update, and maintain employee records Support final payments, deductions, and ACC-related processing Help ensure payroll activities meet all legislative requirements Build and maintain your payroll knowledge and technical capability Provide timely responses to payroll queries from staff across the organisation This is a hands-on role where accuracy, professionalism, and a customer-focused approach are essential.
Nga pumanawatanga ou | What you will bring Proven payroll experience in a medium-to-large organisation (required) PayGlobal expertise (required) ACC processing experience and knowledge of UKG Pro is helpful but not required.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure Solid understanding of employment agreements and pay classifications Good computer skills, including MS Office and payroll systems High attention to detail, excellent organisation, and the ability to meet deadlines A proactive, self-motivated approach with strong relationship-building skills A customer-focused mindset and drive to add value Nou te rourou | What's in it for you?
