About the Role

As a Nurse Educator, you will promote, facilitate and provide clinical education to maximise health care delivery, enhance patient outcomes, and promote clinical excellence and evidence-based professional nursing practice.

Primary functions include liaison with departmental staff in identifying clinical education needs, facilitating and providing department-based learning programs, act as an expert clinical resource.

This role will also be responsible for ensuring mandatory training is completed for all staff.

About you

As a Nurse Educator, you will have the ability to work independently, as well as, the ability to be an excellent team player while encouraging teamwork and cooperation with a positive attitude.

New Zealand Registered Nurse with current practicing certificateRelevant Post Graduate DiplomaDesignated Senior Nurse PDRP or Expert PDRP (demonstrating clinical examples)At least 7 years post registration experienceAt least 4 years experience in relevant specialty areaClinical teaching experienceCertificate in Adult / Clinical TeachingWorking at Health New Zealand
