Procurement & Inventory Manager

OverviewProcurement & Inventory Manager role at Mitre 10 (New Zealand) Limited.

This is a senior leadership / Key Holder position at the Mitre 10 Ponsonby store, reporting to the Store Manager.

It is a full-time role, offering 40 hours per week, with rostered duty support days as part of the role.ResponsibilitiesUtilize SAP systems to manage stock from a procurement focus, through to POSWork with leadership to identify stock levels solutions and rangingForm relationships with suppliers to ensure timely positive stock outcomesMaximize the integrity of physical and computerized inventory recordsLead and work with a small team to ensure stock control fundamentals are managed correctly (stock location maintenance, negative stock, gap scanning and review, general stock maintenance, price updating and control)Coordinate with in-store POS, promotional tickets, and resources to support Mitre 10 promotional initiativesEnsure product is accurately tracked and replenished in-store; investigate stock discrepanciesAssist with the implementation of stock takes and stock take proceduresEnsure sufficient stock on hand at the beginning of advertised promotions and meet legal obligations related to stock levelsQualificationsExperience in using SAP resource planning systems (highly preferable)Proven expertise in procurement and inventory management within a fast-moving retail environmentUnderstanding of inbound goods and stock receipting processesExperience with invoice reconciliationStrong analytical skills and forecasting experienceOutstanding organizational and critical thinking skillsLeadership / supervisory experience is advantageousWe offerA One Team ethos with a positive culture and opportunities to celebrate successTraining and advancement opportunitiesOn-site parkingStaff purchasing privileges in storeA range of savings with national providers via our Team Perks programFlexibility to work hours / days requiredSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionManagement and ManufacturingIndustries : Retail
