System Engineer

Overview

At VetPartners, we pride ourselves on delivering shared services support that drives success for our veterinary clinics. This role features a hybrid work arrangement, with four days in the office to promote collaboration, build strong connections, and enhance team engagement. VetPartners is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to take ownership of deploying and optimising Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) across our veterinary clinics. This contract role, based in Macquarie Park, offers the opportunity to work with a highly collaborative team while making a significant impact on our technology landscape. As part of the IT Operations team, you will ensure our clinics have a secure, scalable, and efficient cloud-based environment. You will work closely with IT Operations, Service Desk teams, and external vendors to implement Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, Intune, and Autopilot, enhancing security, streamlining operations, and improving user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading the AVD rollout across all clinics, ensuring seamless implementation and integration.
• Configuring and managing Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, Intune, and Autopilot to enhance security and efficiency.
• Providing technical support and guidance to internal teams and clinic staff.
• Collaborating with IT Operations, Service Desk, and external vendors to optimise system performance.
• Translating complex technical issues into easy-to-understand language for non-technical stakeholders.
