This is a fixed-term position teaching a Y5–8 class, working in a collaborative and caring environment where relationships, learner agency, and the joy of learning are central to everything we do.
Our students are enthusiastic, our community is engaged, and our staff work closely together to make learning visible, meaningful, and connected to our local context.
We are looking for someone who :
Builds strong, positive relationships with learners and whanau.
Demonstrates sound classroom practice in literacy and numeracy within a structured, evidence-informed approach.
Is creative, reflective, and committed to inclusive, values-based teaching.
Enjoys contributing to a small, collegial team and rural community.

Location : Upper Atiamuri School, SH1, between Rotorua and Tokoroa
Requirements : NZ teacher with current NZ teaching registration and evidence of certification.
