Hauraki Civil Limited is looking for a site supervisor to join our team in Auckland. You will work for 30-40 hours per week, with an hourly rate of $29 to $33, subject to your skills and experience.
Site Supervisor Task
Site Supervision & Coordination
- Oversee daily operations on the construction site, ensuring work progresses according to schedule and quality standards.
- Organize and manage material and human resources to maintain efficiency.
Project Planning & Scheduling
Assist Construction Managers and Surveyors in project planning and organization.Develop and adjust schedules to align workforce, trades, and materials with project deadlines.Coordinate work programs to optimize workflow and productivity.Regulatory Compliance & Interpretation
Interpret construction plans, building codes, regulations, and best practices to ensure adherence.Ensure all work meets legal and industry standards.Work & Material Inspection
Conduct routine inspections of work and materials to verify compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.Identify and address potential issues before they impact progress or quality.Data & Reporting
Perform routine calculations and preliminary data plotting to support site planning and decision-making.Provide progress reports and updatesSafety & Risk Management
Monitor site safety, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.Identify and mitigate potential hazards, enforcing proper safety protocols.Communication & Problem-Solving
Act as a point of contact between workers, contractors, and management to facilitate clear communication.Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues to prevent project delays.Requirement
A qualification at Diploma level or higherrelevant work experience is preferredStrong problem-solving skillsFlexibility to work during weekends if requiredNo criminal record, hardworking, reliable and a strong team playerWe are committed to a drug and alcohol-free workplace.
