Site Manager

The Company

One of the better local contractors with a streamlined organisational culture is looking for a Site Manager to deliver a mix of interiors and new build projects up to $20M. They have a constant stream of new work, which can vary between major refurbishments, larger expansions, base builds of new retail stores, new build schools, reroofs, and larger commercial new builds. The Role

This role involves leading a construction site, working with a project manager to coordinate site activities. Responsibilities include managing subcontractors, site safety, quality control, assisting with the procurement of materials, developing client relationships, scheduling, maintaining the project program, and ensuring occupational health and safety requirements are met.

Ideal Background :

• Ideally a trade background with 6-10+ years of local site management experience
• Ability to develop solutions for problems with a flexible approach
• Strong communication skills with subcontractors, clients, and consultants, including managing strong personalities
• Solid knowledge and experience in OH&S
