Hours : Monday to Friday, 6.45am to 2.45pm.ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of daily operations, leading a barista to deliver an exceptional café environmentAdjust the food and drink offering and operations based on employee feedback and salesBuild and maintain relationships with external suppliersSet up daily operations, ensuring food and coffee stations are ready and staff are making coffee and prepping kaiMonitor cleanliness, presentation, and the overall atmosphere of the cafeManage stock rotation, ordering supplies, and maintaining inventory within the allocated budgetMaintain strict compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulationsBe a brand ambassador, building loyal customer relationships and representing our valuesQualificationsExperience managing or overseeing a café, catering, or hospitality business in a front-of-house capacity with strong barista skillsSupervisory or people leadership skills and a passion for customer serviceFood safety knowledge and qualifications, plus food preparation experienceAbility to commit to the hoursDrive and innovation to shape a successful café that people love to visitExcellent knowledge of inventory management and stock rotationAbility to resolve concerns professionally and promptly, ensuring a positive experience for Z'ers and visitorsWe are passionate about what matters to Z, embracing and living our values to help deliver on our aspirations and commitment to Aotearoa New Zealand.If you don't meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply anyway.
