We build relationships with people who share our purpose of making a positive difference and are excited to help restore people's confidence in construction.ABOUT THE ROLEWe are looking for someone who can work closely with the project team, subcontractors, and key project stakeholders managing all commercial concepts, practices, and procedures from project commencement through to completion.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor must have a good understanding of commercial contract law, drafting subcontract agreements, assessing payment claims and variations, enforcing adherence to contractual terms and risk management.

The position may also involve junior and peer mentoring to ensure development and skill transfer within the business.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESEnsuring adherence to contract terms and conditions and managing risk protectionNegotiating favourable outcomes with clients, subcontractors, and suppliersManaging risks and resolving problems as they ariseProcuring subcontractors and compiling subcontract agreementsAssessing payment claims and variationsMeasuring, estimating and valuing variation claimsEstablishing rates from first principlesPreparing and submitting variation claimsProviding monthly cost reports and accurate cost forecastsManaging relationships with clients and key project stakeholdersOverseeing the project team to achieve all financial deliverables and outcomesCommercial experience necessaryDiploma or degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management3+ years experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor positionCostX (training provided)CAT Projects (training provided)
