The Role

We are seeking an inspiring and passionate Teacher for our Year 7-8 students at our Kerikeri campus starting Term 1,

Permanent Full Time.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and meaningful lessons tailored for Year 7-8 students

Foster student ownership of learning, self-discipline, and collaboration

Implement the Learn to Learn framework to develop effective learning strategies

Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent teaching practices across the campus

Encourage inquiry, creativity, and real-world problem-solving skills

Engage actively with parents and the wider community

Skills And Experience

Registered New Zealand Teacher with current certification

Experience teaching Year 7-8 students in a New Zealand context preferred

Passion for innovative teaching methods promoting active learning and critical thinking

Strong commitment to fostering a growth and performance mindset

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships with students, staff, and the school community
