We are thrilled to be looking for a dynamic, skilled, and culturally grounded Y3 teacher to join our dedicated team starting term 1,2026.

We are searching for an educator who embodies enthusiasm, possesses a deep commitment to student success, and has a genuine love for working with our students. The ideal Kaiako (teacher) will have :

  • Strong Te Reo Māori proficiency : A solid foundation and the ability to weave Te Reo Māori seamlessly and authentically into daily classroom practice and learning contexts.
  • Core curriculum mastery : Demonstrated expertise and enthusiasm for teaching literacy and mathematics at the Y3 level, using engaging, student-centered approaches.
  • Digital fluency : Proven skill in digital education , leveraging technology to enhance learning, differentiation, and classroom management.
  • Cultural alignment : A demonstrated passion for Māori student success , understanding the importance of whanaungatanga (relationships) and manaakitanga (care and support) in the classroom.
  • Team spirit : A proactive, positive attitude, keen to contribute actively to school-wide initiatives.
