The role
We're looking for a motivated and confident Actuarial Analyst to join our high-performing Actuarial & Pricing team.
Whether you are contemplating beginning your Actuarial qualification or have recently begun.
Partnering with various business areas at Ando, you will assist in delivering Ando's strategic outcomes through smart and evolving insight and analytical solutions.

Responsibilities
Working closely with portfolio managers in providing portfolio analysis, insights, and analytical support for data driven decision making.
Conduct statistical modelling and data analysis to evaluate claims, premiums, risks, and trends.
Prepare and present reports to communicate insights to key stakeholders including senior management.
Collaborate across the wider business including underwriting, claims, IT, data, and finance teams to ensure delivery of business objectives.
Staying up to date with the latest developments and insights on data trends, including AI, machine learning and emerging trends in insurance.
Qualifications and experience
Tertiary qualification in an actuarial, mathematics, statistics or engineering related field.
Strong interest or experience in data and modelling languages (R, python, SQL).
Ideally 2-3 years insurance industry experience with some actuarial papers underway.
Demonstrated experience in proactively partnering with business units.
Ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders and be approachable.
