The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is critical in supporting our clients with accurate financial record-keeping and reporting. You will work with both manual and computerised systems to ensure accounts are managed effectively and in compliance with New Zealand accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and balance financial records using accounting systems (manual and computerised).
• Monitor cash flow and lines of credit for clients.
• Prepare and produce financial statements, budgets, expenditure reports, and analyses.
• Generate invoices, purchase orders, and bank deposits.
• Reconcile accounts against monthly bank statements.
• Verify recorded transactions and promptly report irregularities to management.
• Assist with preparation of tax-related forms (e.g., GST paid and collected).
