About the Role

As the Clinical Quality Consultant Certification, you will play a key role in ensuring Te Toka Tumai continues to meet and maintain national health certification standards supporting safe, high-quality care for our patients and communities in line with the Nga Paerewa Health and Disability Services Standard (NZS

• ).

Youll act as a subject matter expert, leading and coordinating certification processes in partnership with external auditing agencies, organisational leaders, and provider directorate teams across Te Toka Tumai.

This role is central to maintaining compliance with the Standard, managing corrective actions, monitoring risk, and providing clear, timely reporting to key stakeholders.

The role is 0.5 FTE (around 20 hours per week).

Were looking for someone who can work flexibly and, when required, commit extra hours to support our team during accreditation preparation and onsite assessments.

Essential :

Tertiary education or equivalent clinical qualification6+ years health sector experience with a clinical backgroundNursing or Allied Health Professional with a current APCLeadership and project management experienceStrong written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of quality improvement systems and processesCommitment to achieving equitable outcomes for MaoriUnderstanding of the Standard and related auditing processesDesirable :
