In all programmes we place a strong emphasis on high academic achievement, secured by strong collective practice and cognitive science considerate pedagogy.ResponsibilitiesTeach Visual Arts across the programmes including Art, Digital Art, Design, Painting, Photography and Art History.Collaborate with the Visual Arts Faculty to support high academic achievement and strong collective practice.Contribute to a culture of care and the academic and co-curricular success of akonga.Apply cognitive science considerate pedagogy to teaching practices.QualificationsOur ideal candidate should be committed to academic excellence and have a passion for Visual Arts education.Photography expertise would be an advantage but please state your Visual Arts subject specialist strengths.A commitment to our culture of care and a desire to contribute to the academic and co-curricular success of akonga is essential.Salary and conditionsThe terms and conditions, including base salary and hours of work, for this position is set by the Secondary Teachers\' Collective Agreement.
The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $61,329 to $103,086, depending on applicant\'s qualifications and experience.
An individuals actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
