About the Role
This is a unique leadership opportunity to bring your passion to build a great community for our 758 residents. You will require skills in strategic planning, student wellbeing and engagement for this role in which you will oversee the quality assurance, development of and improvement of our residential experience at our UniLodge Auckland Central accommodation. This role will focus on the following key areas :
This role is crucial in our innovation and delivery in all things residential experience for our students living with UniLodge at Auckland Central. You will have the opportunity to ensure UniLodge Living Group is at the forefront of good practice. You will become part of the driving force for a safe, inclusive environment that focuses on student development and success. Teamwork is essential in this role. You will work alongside General Manager and Night Manager who are dedicated to delivering a great program and experience for our residents.
This role is a Full time permanent position (40 hours per week) - work hours will be from Tuesday to Saturday, with the successful candidate needing flexibility to work after hours and weekends due to the nature of our resident needs and lifecycle.
About You
You will be enthusiastic and intentional in creating a holistic environment for student growth. You will oversee the end‑to‑end residential experience for the growing portfolio. It is essential that you demonstrate the ability to understand the complexities of university life, and operational aspects of residential living. Living in an unfamiliar environment can be a daunting and challenging experience for anyone. You will be someone who can respond to a range of critical incidents and mental health challenges and lead a UniLodge response to these. Ideally you will have experience in a similar role, with a focus on planning, engagement, and mental health / wellbeing.
