• What will your day look like?

The key responsibilities of the role will include the following : Building sustainable long-term client relationships and growing critical customer portfoliosAlign with overall business strategies to source and maximise new business, increase effectiveness and keep up to date with market and economic trendsSupport customer with their banking needs by simplifying practices and delivering great customer outcomeProvide customers with effective, value-added solutions whilst managing potential risks and applying financial analysis to identify key insightsOu Pukenga?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following : A successful track record in customer relationship management, risk management and an ability to influence outcomesAbility to build rapport, handle tough conversations with empathy, and remain calm and assured in stressful situationsBusiness acumen and strong negotiation skills to understand customer strategies and offer creative solutionsFinancial analysis and credit writing skillsBusiness advisory or accounting skillsA growth mindset and passion to grow your commercial banking careerYou're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
