Here at New World Centre City, our deli is at the heart of what we do – and we ‘re excited to grow it even further. As part of this, we’re looking for 3 new Full-Time Deli Assistants to join our team and help us expand our deli offering.

If you love food and enjoy making dishes that make people smile, this is the role for you! As a Deli Assistant, you’ll bring flavour, freshness, and creativity to our deli every day. Whether you’ve worked in a kitchen before or you’re eager to learn, you’ll be part of a passionate team dedicated to serving up delicious products our customers love coming back for.

At New World Centre City, we’re not just running a deli – we’re growing it into something special. That means experimenting with new ideas, developing premium products, and making sure our customers discover something delicious every time they visit.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare a wide selection of fresh, premium deli products, from vibrant salads to hearty meals and tempting savoury pastries.
• Contribute to the development and introduction of innovative deli creations that keep our range exciting and unique.
• Maintain deli displays to the highest standard and deliver the warm, friendly service that New World is renowned for.
• Collaborate with the team to keep the deli running smoothly while upholding the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

Hours

Full-time hours, specific hours to be discussed at the interview stage. New World Centre City Deli Department operates from 05 : 00am – 10 : 00pm, 7 days a week, shift patterns to include a weekend day.

We’re looking for people who bring positive energy, a love of good food, and a willingness to roll up their sleeves. If you’ve got kitchen or food experience that’s great, but what matters most is your attitude and enthusiasm.
