With a primary hub in Wellington, and a presence throughout the country, NZ Police ICT delivers new and enhanced solutions directly and through specialist vendor partnerships.
We provide expert advice on how technology can be leveraged to support Police's strategies and turn concepts into reality through collaborative development.
We are currently seeking a Lead Developer to drive the design, development, delivery, and maintenance of our low code platform Appian, used for operational workflows.
As the Lead Developer - Appian, you will work closely with product owners and solution architects to ensure our applications meet NZ Police standards.
This includes the delivery of appropriate design documentation and the consideration of industry best practices.
The Lead Developer - Appian will also provide mentorship and guidance to other members of the product team and wider ICT community.
This will include directing work and providing support and feedback for the low code developers in your team.
You will promote software best practices by sharing your knowledge of low code delivery in the SDLC.
You will be part of the wider Development Centre of Expertise and will support the progress and improvement of the development practice at NZ Police.
You will have strong Agile experience and be at the cutting edge of the Appian low-code platform, ensuring we are utilising the latest features and best practices, while acting as a key advocate for its adoption.
This role will be working exclusively with the Appian platform so experience in this is desirable.
