We are seeking a talented and motivated English teacher to join our team.

This is a full-time, permanent position, commencing at the start of term 1,

Primary trained teachers would be considered.

Stratford High School is a coeducational secondary school with approximately 650 students.

We are located in the heart of the Taranaki region, nestled below our beautiful Maunga and just a short drive from the beach.

Our school is future-focused with a dynamic and engaging curriculum.

We are looking for a passionate educator who can inspire a love of language, literature, and critical thinking.

The successful applicant will :

Hold a current New Zealand practising certificate and have the right to work in New Zealand

Have experience in teaching English across multiple year levels

Demonstrate a flair for literature and creativity in the classroom

Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational, and time management skills

Be committed to fostering excellence and achievement

Promote engaging, inclusive learning experiences for all students

Be supportive of focused and purposeful change

Align with our progressive, student-first culture
