About the role

We are seeking a passionate, collaborative teacher to join our dedicated team in a full-time, permanent position, likely in our Junior School. The successful candidate will :

• Inspire and engage tamariki in a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Deliver a broad, balanced curriculum with strong literacy and numeracy foundations
• Implement Better Start Structured Literacy (all staff trained; training provided if required)
• Use assessment and data to inform teaching and track progress
• Integrate te reo Māori and tikanga Māori naturally in programmes
• Build strong relationships with students, colleagues, whānau, and the community.
• Holds full NZ teacher registration and a current practising certificate
• Demonstrates strong pedagogical knowledge, particularly in structured literacy and numeracy
• Has an inclusive, learner-focused approach and values equitable outcomes
• Enjoys rural community life and collaborative teamwork.
