Position : Site Winemaker

Company : Constellation Brands New Zealand & Australia

Report to : Head of Wineries; work closely with Chief Winemaker.

Job Description

Responsible for all winemaking operations at Selaks Winery, contributing to two vintages with a transition period before and after the Winemaker’s parental leave.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of two (Operations Winemaker and Senior Laboratory Technician)
• Develop wine style and quality for Selaks Winery wines
• Plan winemaking activities including bottling schedule and dispatch
• Manage and audit Wine Quality Control systems from fruit picking to bottling
• Assist in annual harvest planning, logistics, and wider needs as required
• Provide input into long-term / annual operating and vintage plans
