Patient Care Assistant, Module 4

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has opened up for a motivated Patient Care Assistant (Clerical) to come on board and work within our friendly, quality focussed and dynamic administration team at Module 4 (Paediatrics) based at Manukau Health Park.

The role does not have any direct patient care however the clinical administration role involves supporting families as part of a large multi-disciplinary team.

This is a part time position working from 8am to 4 : 30pm Thursday and Friday but flexibility to cover different days when required.

About You

We are looking for a person, preferably with experience working in a healthcare environment, as well as strong customer focus and a commitment to providing patient focused care to the diverse community of South Auckland.

As a people person, you will also demonstrate excellent communication skills and be a supportive team member.

• You will have;

Experience in working in a multi-disciplinary teamExcellent computer and technical skillsAdvanced written and verbal English communication skillsExperience with IPM and Regional Clinical Portal Working at Health New Zealand
