Reporting to the Model of Care Lead, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing an innovative, community-based Model of Care for the Northern Region.
Grounded in Te Tiriti o Waitangi and matauranga Maori, this work is about more than designing systems its about transforming the way care is delivered, ensuring whanau can access high-quality, culturally safe cancer care closer to home.
Youll be at the centre of co-design wananga, working alongside whanau, regional leadership, networks, and communities to bring a truly people-first approach to cancer care.Youll also help drive the programme forward by contributing to business cases and reports, identifying gaps between todays cancer services and the future vision, and turning aspiration into action.
Collaboration will be key from engaging with stakeholders across the health system to building trusted relationships with communities that ensure lasting impact.

Te Puriri o Te Ora means "the Puriri tree of wellbeing" and speaks to the many qualities and gifts of the Puriri tree and our aspiration to provide a place of healing and wellbeing for our communities.Te Puriri o Te Ora is the biggest cancer and blood service within Aotearoa, providing care to approximately 40% of the country.

You will have a relevant tertiary qualification (or equivalent experience), strong communication skills, and proven experience leading initiatives that give effect to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.You will also be motivated to serve and advocate for patients and whanau, applying Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles meaningfully in your mahi.
