This is a pivotal role that ensures our infrastructure is secure, reliable, and scalable, supporting both day-to-day operations and long-term strategic goals.As our IT Infrastructure Manager, you'll be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network and server infrastructure (on-premises and cloud).
You'll lead IT security initiatives, provide escalation support, and collaborate on strategic planning and project delivery.
This role also includes mentoring our IT Support Technician and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain robust network and server infrastructure (on-prem and cloud).
Manage IT security protocols including firewalls, antivirus, backups, and remote access controls.Provide expert-level escalation support for complex technical issues.Oversee system upgrades, patch management, and disaster recovery planning and execution.Monitor system performance and ensure high availability in line with KPIs.Collaborate on IT project design and lead implementation efforts.Partner with leadership on IT strategy, planning, and budgeting.Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures.Provide leadership and mentorship within the IT function, supporting the development of the IT Support Technician.Required Skills & ExperienceProven experience in IT infrastructure management, including cloud and on-prem environments.Strong knowledge of IT security best practices and technologies.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Experience with project management and strategic IT planning.Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.Leadership qualities with a passion for mentoring and team development.BenefitsContinued professional development and career advancement in a growing organisation.A culture that is based on strong core values that supports the empowerment of our employees.A supportive work environment alongside a wide team of like-minded experts.
