Solar Pv Mechanical Technician

We are a company that installs Solar Panels to residential and commercial placesThe role requires you to Assemble, install, or maintain solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on roofs or other structures in compliance with site assessment and schematics.

Core objectives include :

• Installer configures, installs, inspects, and maintains solar PVsystems for customers.
• Assess the environment and detect and mitigate any hazardsassociated with installation.
• Map out where everything will go, and then place componentsaccording to those designs.
• Seal the system against weather, using safety codes andmanufacturer specifications.
• Labelling of equipment, assist with lifting heavy equipment intoposition.
• Install temporary or permanent height safety equipment.
• Perform general maintenance of building including pressurewashing.
• Fulfil other duties as required by management or other departmentpersonnel as requested

You are required to have a NZQF level 4 qualification or atleast 3 years of work experience in the field.

This is a permanent role and you will be gaurenteed a minimum of 30 hours a week.
