We're on the hunt for a skilled HVAC Technician to join a high-performing team in Grenada North, Wellington.

This short-term role runs through to Christmas, with the possibility of extension for the right person.

If you're hands-on, safety-focused, and keen to work on something a bit different-like trains-this could be your next move.Roles AvailableWe want to hear from you if you have experience in : HVAC systems servicing and repairMechanical and electrical fault findingRail or heavy vehicle maintenance (preferred)ResponsibilitiesOverhauling, repairing and testing HVAC components on rail vehiclesFollowing detailed drawings, task instructions, and safety proceduresDocumenting all work completed, including testing outcomesReporting any non-conforming components or toolingSuggesting design improvements to enhance product performanceMaintaining tools and equipment to ensure safe operationSupporting wider service and operational needs as requiredWhat You NeedTrade Certificate in Engineering (mechanical or electrical) or equivalent experienceValid motor vehicle driver licenceGas handling ticket (essential)Bonus if you hold : Forklift licence, First Aid / CPR / AED, Fire extinguisher training, Gantry crane and Rigger certificatesApplicants must have the current right to work in New ZealandPre-employment Drug & Alcohol screening testMinistry of Justice criminal background checks as part of standard processWhat's in It for YouUp to $40 / hr depending on experienceEarly finishes on Fridays for better work-life balanceKiwiSaver and annual leave entitlementsA chance to work on unique projects with a supportive teamApply now and make your mark before the year wraps up!
