Job descriptionOverhauling, repairing and testing HVAC components on rail vehicles Following detailed drawings, task instructions, and safety procedures Documenting all work completed, including testing outcomes Reporting any non-conforming components or tooling Suggesting design improvements to enhance product performance Maintaining tools and equipment to ensure safe operation Supporting wider service and operational needs as required Trade Certificate in Engineering (mechanical or electrical) or equivalent experience Valid motor vehicle driver licence Gas handling ticket (essential) Bonus if you hold : Forklift licence, First Aid / CPR / AED, Fire extinguisher training, Gantry crane and Rigger certificates Applicants must have the current right to work in New Zealand Pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screening test Ministry of Justice criminal background checks as part of standard process Up to $40 / hr depending on experience Early finishes on Fridays for better work-life balance KiwiSaver and annual leave entitlements A chance to work on unique projects with a supportive team Apply now and make your mark before the year wraps up!

This short-term role runs through to Christmas, with the possibility of extension for the right person.
