Class 2 Driver

We currently have a Class 2 driver position available for our Christchurch Branch.Stones Fabric is a leading Textile recycler in New Zealand with over 40 years of experience in the industry, processing and recycling over a million kilograms of clothing and textiles every year.

This role has a vast variety of different tasks, everyday is different.The RoleFull time, approximately 35 hours a week, 5 days a week, Sunday to Thursday, with the opportunity to pick up extra hours.Maintaining and emptying some of the Plunket clothing bins around Christchurch using a class 2 truck.Some warehouse work and customer deliveries where needed.What You Will Bring to the RoleValid Class 2 driver's license with a clean driving record.Physically fit to be able to move heavy bales and bags.Good knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations.Good verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Proven ability to ensure tasks are completed in full and on time.Strong written and verbal communication skills.A positive and energetic work ethic.What We OfferCompetitive pay starting at $31 per hour gross.A small friendly team.A safety conscious work environment.PPE & work uniform provided.Please note we will only consider applicants who already have the right to work in New Zealand for this role.Note : Having the below qualifications may be helpful in your application, but please do not contact the office about this position as it disrupts our employees and HR is not available via phone.
