Skillford and co limited is seeking an experienced Class 5 Driver to join our team in Christchurch, Canterbury. We have part time and full-time positions which will involve driving large trucks and towing trailers on both regional and long-haul routes, alongside civil works that we also have on offer. You will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods across the South Island.

What you'll be doing

• Operate a range of Class 5 vehicles, including rigid trucks, semi-trailers and B-trains
• Adhere to all road rules, safety protocols and company policies
• Inspect vehicles and report any issues or maintenance needs
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring safe and efficient operations
• Maintain accurate trip logs and documentation
• Deliver goods on time and in excellent condition
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients
