Carpenter

Experienced C arpent ers required in Auckland.

We are looking for suitable / experienced C arpent ers.

Full time (40 hours) permanent position – Monday to Saturday 6.30am to 5.30pm daily

Projects are based within the Auckland region, mainly in West Auckland, South Auckland and the North Shore

We work both on commercial and residential job sites

• Hourly rate ranges from $29.66 to $35, depending on skills and experience

You will be required to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.

Duties include :

Study drawings and specifications to determine materials required , dimensions and installation procedures

Ensure compliance with legislative laws

Cutting materials, assembling, fastening cut shaped parts

Erecting framework, sub-flooring, floorboards and checking structure designs

Assembling prepared timber to form structures and fittings ready to install

Repair existing fittings

On Occasion monitor, supervise and instruct team members to carry out and complete projects

To be successful for this role, you hold :

Minimum 3 year s of relevant and verifiable experience (essential)

Show initiative on job sites and work independently within a team environment

A team effort attitude

Be honest and reliable and display good time management skills to work to deadlines

Have a proven track record of reliability with a strong work ethic and great attitude

No criminal history and must pass drug and alcohol test

A current Site Safe Card

A current first aid certificate
