The Notifications and Enquiries Team (NET) simplifies the process for notifications and enquiries coming into Maritime NZ.
The Team makes it easy to notify MNZ of incidents and ensures that responses to notifications and enquiries meet agreed standards and expectations with respect to quality, timeliness, efficiency, coverage and transparency.
By promptly responding to enquiries the Team aims to improve Maritime NZ's education and engagement efforts and deliver a better regulatory service to stakeholders.
The Notifications &Enquiries Function comprises two concepts :
Te tunga | The role
As Manager Notifications and Enquiries you will become a member of the Regulatory Practice, Licensing and Notifications Leadership Team (Reg PL&NET), and the Regulatory Operations Leadership Team, working closely with other Regulatory Operations leaders on a regular basis.
The role includes both leadership for the current core work of the Notifications and Enquiries Team, as well as the Notifications and Enquiries Implementation Project as we continue to build towards our ambition for the function.
You will have demonstrated people leadership skills and a passion for developing others.
You will have a proven track record of leading and building highly engaged teams with a safe, trusting and enabling culture, managing performance and supporting people to succeed.

Salary range $166,424 - $203,407 depending on skills and experience + superannuation.
